Chapman UTV Cattle Feeder

The new UTV cattle feeder from Chapman is an electric drive stock feeder designed for UTV and 4x4 vehicles. These reliable units provide a quick an easy way of feeding your cattle, sheep and other livestock.

The Chapman UTV cattle feeder has a variable drop rate ranging from 0.5kg to 2kg (approx.) and a controlled drop gap regulated by the forward speed of the  vehicle. The drive system and electronics on this unit have been tried and tested as they have with our sheep snacker to ensure optimum performance. Made from heavy-duty galvanised steel, the Chapman feeders have the benefit of having a control module which is interchangeable between feeder models. The feeding counter works from zero up, or as a countdown, giving total control of the amounts of food dispensed.

​The electronic drive system of the UTV cattle feeder has few moving parts and only moves when in open and shut operation, reducing wear and tear and allowing towing over longer distances. The electronic components of the feeder are IP67 rated for operating in the toughest conditions.
​Having a bright, highly visible back-lit display which is easy to read and has a countdown function, is the perfect solution for dispensing exactly the right amount of feed whilst freeing you up to check on your cattle, sheep or other livestock. ​When hard-wired to the vehicle and in the off-position, this unit consumes little power, preserving the battery life.

​Manufactured in the UK, the MF350 UTV cattle feeder is lightweight but exceptionally strong and suitable for wet, wintry conditions. This feeder has a fully galvanised hopper made from robust 2mm folded steel without being too heavy. The UTV cattle feeder weigh around 90kg when empty, allowing you the full 300kg max feed capacity (depending on the vehicle's load limit). If used with a trailer the cattle feeders' drop deflector will dispense the feed on the clear ground area between the wheels of the UTV vehicle and the trailer. ​
