Chapman Paddock Sweeper
Versatile and effective, the paddock sweeper works well in paddocks, fields, zoos, equestrian arenas, riding schools and alpaca farms. New in the market, the Chapman PC120 paddock sweeper has a unique electric start and electric emptying hopper. Equipped with a single axle and adjustable tine bar, this paddock sweeper is easy to manoeuvre and can be towed behind a quad bike or similar towing vehicle. 4 heavy duty brushes help to pick up manure and loose debris with ease, whilst the adjustable tine bar helps to break up compacted, stubborn dung. A remote tipping mechanism removes the need for hand winching and locking mechanisms as in other paddock sweepers in the market. This electric sweeper will reduce the efforts required to maintain the paddocks in perfect condition.
The Wessex Dung Beetle MTX120E paddock sweeper will pick up manure, dead grass, sprigs, leaves and litter to ensure a clean and healthy environment for your horses to be in.These paddock sweepers are powered by a 5.5 HP Loncin petrol engine and have a drive system transmitted to the rotor via twin drive belts. A centrifugal clutch allows for easy engaging and disengaging of the rotor brush from the comfort of the ATV vehicle's seat. The regular use and sweeping motion of the paddock sweeper encourages the growth of new grass, an added benefit to just clearing manure or debris. The Dung Beetle paddock sweeper's four wheels offer maximum stability. The front wheels are directly in line with the brush rotor allowing the ground contours to be followed accurately and can be adjusted to change the height of the sweeper brush with a simple screw handle on each side. The markers enable an even brushing action across the full width of the sweeper.
Paddock sweeper muck tines: The adjustable spring tines rake through the grass to loosen any stubborn poo facilitating the collection of manure into the container. The Wessex paddock sweeper complies with health and safety guidelines satisfying the British HSE and the European CE legislation. This towable manure collector is fitted with a swivelling ball hitch protecting the operator in the unlikely event of the paddock sweeper turning over.
Easy to empty hopper: When full, the horse manure hopper is rolled over with the aid of the winch, for easy emptying. The sweeper collector hopper is finely balanced on the pivot points to ensure an easy roll-over whilst the spring-loaded pin secures it into position when in operation.
Powerful paddock sweeper: The rotor comprises four banks of hard-wearing polypropylene bristles fastened into a hardwood strip. The generous length of the paddock sweeper bristles provides a good action, ensuring that any muck is propelled effortlessly into the collector. The brush strips are simply bolted in pairs through the steel box section rotor and can be easily changed and replaced when worn.
