Max Truck
Max Truck, the Power Barrow for landscapers, ground workers, builders and tree surgeons.
Like the muck truck, the max truck can be fitted with a full range of accessories such as the flatbed for moving paving slabs, skip extensions or greedy boards for holding more volume, ball hitch for towing etc. Turf or grass tyres can be fitted to the max truck to reduce ground pressure and protect prestigious lawns. The max truck high capacity loading skip can move concrete, wet cement, gravel, dirt.
This 4WD power barrow is ideal for moving all kinds of building and landscaping materials over almost any terrain, having an extra 25% more capacity than the standard muck truck. In more recent years woodland owners and tree surgeons have invested in these powered wheelbarrows to speed up the removal of timber, logs, and branches or brash. Both the max truck and muck truck are just 710mm wide so they are easy to manoeuvre around the back of houses and through garden gates working hand in hand with micro diggers.
When comparing it to operating a typical wheelbarrow the max dumper will certainly speed up and increase work productivity on average by 400% while also substantially reducing operator tiredness. This machine is powered by the Honda 160cc GXV commercial grade 4-stroke engine for excellent performance and reliability on building sites. The 365Kg capacity loading skip when full of building materials will travel over obstacles, climb up steps, and get up 30° inclines. The max will shift up to five times more than a normal wheelbarrow and typically twice as much as a tracked dumper.
This mini dumper steers just like a wheelbarrow but is more stable when loaded, having two front wheels instead of one, with 1 reverse gear and 3 forward gears. The wheel position in relation to the skip and load position coupled together with the centre of gravity of the max power barrow allows the skip to be easily emptied with minimum effort.

Muck Truck Max FAQ's
1. Q - Can I fill up a skip fully using just the Max Truck and loading ramp?
A – Yes, Once you have filled the end you are loading from, simply drive the max truck into the skip with the bucket in the tipped position (90°) and push the dirt or materials across the skip to the other end, then work your way back with each tip to the loading end, this way your wheelbarrow can fill up a skip completely.
2. Q – What is the parts ordering process?
A – Parts are kept in stock, if we process your order by 12 noon you will receive your parts on the following working day.
3. Q – Why is the Max Truck so stable?
A – This power barrow is built on 4 wheels. It has a low centre of gravity and the centre point of the machine ensures that it is stable, especially useful when filling it using a mini digger.
4. Q – What is the Muck Truck and Max Truck four wheel drive system and why is it so effective?
A – The power drive is what enables it to travel up inclines up to 30° with a full load. It works by all six wheels being connected to each other under tyre friction, the front wheels are the driving wheels, which in turn create a reverse motion of the smaller centre wheels, which then creates drive into the rear wheels giving the four wheel drive system.
5. Q – How do I know if I have a MK 1, 2 or 3 model Muck Truck?
A – Every Muck Truck has a serial number marked on an ID plate, simply quote this number and we can tell you.
6. Q – How do I change direction when using my Max Truck?
A – Due to the power barrow being perfectly balanced whether loaded or unloaded, you change direction like steering a wheelbarrow with a very slight lifting of the handle bars and then you turn accordingly.
7. Q – Does the Max Truck start easily?
A – Most definitely, almost everyone can start the max truck with ease.
8. Q – Is the Max dumper asy to use?
A – It is the easiest to use mini dumper in the marketplace today, easy starting, simple steering due to the wheelbarrow type technique and most of all it is perfectly balanced, unlike other complicated machines.
9. Q – Do Muck Truck UK have a network of dealers offering after sales support on their products?

Max Truck Case Study (Earth Moving Services Ltd)
1 Micro excavator and 1 Max Truck on an outbuilding demolition task: Distance from excavation site to tip point approx. 25M through a narrow alleyway. Route travelled by Max Truck followed a sort of ‘S’ shape from back garden into alleyway as designated by the wooden boards used to protect the lawn. Total amount of hardcore material shifted in 7 ½ hours; The stockpile was equivalent to more than 1 six wheel grab lorry load. Some material left over after grab lorry had loaded. Max Truck Tip Cycles: - Engine left idling whilst being loaded by micro excavator and ran at full throttle when travelling. - Approx. 45% time in 3rd gear travelling loaded to tip site. - Approx. 5% time in 1st gear turning out of alley way to tip the load. - Approx. 50% in reverse gear travelling back to hardcore stockpile to be loaded my micro excavator. - Fuel consumption during this task: 0.46L/per hour. - May 2015 - Since this Case Study, Stephen Trott of Earthmoving Services has been so pleased with the Max truck that he has expanded and bought a second machine fitted with Double Wheels.
