H Max Power Barrow
Muck Truck H Max
The H Max Power Barrow has 450 Kg capacity and a hydraulic tipping skip for the small builder, landscaper, ground worker and tree surgeon.
This latest power barrow is an addition to the ever-popular muck truck power barrow range with an increased load capacity of 450 Kg and a massive 10 Cu Ft volume (283 litres). The Muck Truck H Max power barrow still runs on the same engine and drive system as the muck truck and max dumper as this system is tried and tested. The H Max power barrow is slightly wider measuring in at just 736 mm (29 inches) in width, just 26 mm (1inch) wider than the standard muck truck and max dumper power barrows, therefore still designed to travel through a narrow side gate and get to and from the back garden to remove building materials such as soil, broken concrete etc.
The skip of this power barrow is slightly longer at 1,828 mm (72 inches), making it that little bit easier to load when working in conjunction with an 08-micro digger when being loaded using a grading bucket or similar, speeding up the movement of soil for the builder or landscaper. The wheelbase of the H Max power barrow is the same as the muck truck, so it works with the muck truck loading ramp. The structural design of the loading skip means that the ball hitch attachment will fit the H max power barrow, muck truck barrow and max powered barrows. This large capacity power barrow has a height of 1,066 mm (42 inches) and a weight of 184 kg.
A flatbed attachment is also available. The H Max power barrow flat bed has extended sides for handling wider loads. Current attachments and upgrades available for this powered barrow are the twin front wheels, turf tyres also known as grass tyres and skip mounted towing ball hitch fitting which can be removed so it can be used as a clevis or drop pin connection.
The on-board hydraulic system of this power barrow is one of the two main differences from the max dumper and muck truck barrows as well as the half ton loading capacity. The hydraulic system has three spool valves, the first lever is to operate a tilt ram which fixes to the underside of the skip to control the tip hydraulically, very useful when part load tipping or just normal load tipping. This is beneficial when used with the ramp and loading into a skip, then simply return the power barrow skip into its normal working position by operating the lever. The 2nd and 3rd hydraulic spoil valves come with levers but not mounted until needed. The extra hydraulic valves are necessary to operate some of the other barrow attachments which will be available in the future, such as the snow plough, power lifter, power brush etc.
