Chain Harrow
Chain harrows aerate the soil, spread manure, remove moss, and grade surfaces. Our chain harrow range, available as trailed or tractor-mounted units, offer flexible choices for equestrian, smallholding, and farm uses, whether for paddock maintenance, pasture renovation, or arena grading. Paddocks, farms, estates, and horse arenas will benefit from harrowing the ground
to improve aeration and water filtration, promoting grass growth where required. Springtime is the ideal time for harrowing, soon after grazing and as an add-on to field rolling but before applying lawn fertiliser.

Three way Chain Harrow - (Best seller) - 5Ft or 6Ft units
FG3WCH5 and FG3WCH6
These models are easier to pull than conventional units. A feature of these chain harrows is the flexibility they offer by way of being pulled in three different ways, to achieve the desired result. The tines of this model protrude more if pulled in one direction creating a vigorous, deeper penetration for an aggressive application. When the towbar is changed to the other end of the unit, the tines will protrude less, getting less penetration which lends itself to a much smoother operation, creating a passive application. If turned upside down, the unit can be used for light raking and levelling grassed areas or reseeding, resulting in a flat application. The standard ring fits over a 50mm ball hitch. An optional ball hitch can be fitted. FG3WCH6 Specifications Working width: 1880mm (74"). Working length: 1500mm (60"). Weight: 46kg. |
